Biausevu Waterfall Tour

Overview

Biausevu Waterfall, also known locally as Savu Na Mate Laya Falls, is a popular two-tiered, 20-meter cascade. It is located on the Coral Coast of Viti Levu, Fiji, near Sigatoka

Hike & Trail Details

  • The Walk: It is an easy-to-moderate, mostly flat 1.5 km to 2 km walk (around 30–45 minutes each way) through a lush tropical rainforest.
  • River Crossings: The path winds across the river, meaning you will need to wade through 7 to 9 shallow, ankle-deep stream crossings.
  • The Reward: The trail opens up to a large, cold, refreshing natural pool at the base of the falls where visitors are welcome to swim

Cultural Protocol & Fees

To access the waterfall, visitors stop at the Biausevu Village to pay an entry fee, which typically ranges from $25 to $50 FJD per adult.
